1 to 1 Sessions

Have no clue what career path is right for you? No problem. You are not alone in feeling this way and we are here to help. In this 1 hour session, you will be asked to self-reflect as a means of identifying your skills, interests, and values.

This will help your career counsellor to determine career sectors that will likely be of high interest to you. You will leave this session with a greater sense of direction about potential careers you might want to pursue.

Resume Building

Does your resume need some polishing or are you starting completely from scratch? We all know the importance of having a solid resume, but sometimes the process of building one can be frustrating.

We are here to support you and help you create a resume that will tell your story and help you stand out to potential employers. This 1 hour session is perfect for high school students, post-secondary students, and anyone who could benefit from some help with building their resume.

A career counsellor will work with you via zoom and shared document formatting. By the end of this session, you will leave with a working resume!

Education Pathway Support

Are you a high school student who is at a loss about what you should do after graduation? Maybe you don’t think university is right for you?

There are many different options for post-secondary education pathways that can lead to success and your dream career. In this 1 hour session, you will explore these options with a career counsellor and have the opportunity to have your questions answered about each of those different levels. By the end of the session, you will have received valuable guidance on suitable education pathways that may be right for you.

Looking for some general guidance when it comes to career planning? In that case, this 1 hour session is right for you. This session will look different for everyone as it will be catered to your individual needs.

Maybe you want to talk a little bit about career planning, education pathways, or anything else related to workforce development. Maybe you are looking to be pointed in the direction of some resources or just need someone to bounce ideas off of.

Our hope is that you will leave this session feeling more confident and knowledgeable about how to meet your career goals.

Group Sessions

Do you and your friends want to participate in a career counselling session together? Do you prefer group settings?

If the answer is yes, then this 1-hour session is the perfect choice. Sometimes it’s hard to know the right questions to ask and you can benefit from hearing the answer to other people’s questions.
