Our goal at HIEC is to develop and implement community-based educational initiatives and programs that will help students plan for their future.

We couldn’t do that without hearing directly from young people about what they needed to confidently create a career path that would take them from elementary and secondary school to post-secondary opportunities and ultimately to the workforce. The HIEC Youth Advisory Committee provided perspectives and opinions of young people to bridge the gap between education and industry.
